COURSE OVERVIEW
This is an introductory course to public speaking. In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of public speaking, from building the structure of a talk to engaging the audience with strong body language. This 9-session program intends to help students present a well-structured speech on stage. Using confident body language and vivid description, students will learn to effectively command the attention of an audience. The content of their speeches will be based on their interests and personal anecdotes. They will be given opportunities to think critically and reflect on the subject they are passionate about and meaningful life experiences. In addition to learning from the coaching team, students will learn to provide constructive feedback and engage in peer learning. All classes are run with hands-on, action-oriented activities in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere.
CLASS ORIENTATION
• Students will receive an orientation in the first session. During the orientation, they will be briefed about class rules, homework, and expectations.
• Parents are required to attend a separate parent orientation on the first day of the course. During the orientation, they will be introduced to the course and classroom policies.

HOMEWORK
• Students will be assigned a speech homework after each session. Completion of homework is highly recommended, so students benefit from applying the concepts in class in their speech work.
• Parents can help check in with their children to see if they are doing their assignments/homework, but they are advised not to interfere with the students’ speech writing process; Please refrain from editing students’ speech content. We would like to
ensure that students can express their authentic voices.
FINAL SHOW
• The last session is the Final Show. Every student will give a speech in front of a live audience based on the topics that they choose. Participation in this event is mandatory for course completion. Parents are invited to join us at this event.
• The Final Show serves as an evaluation of the students’ learning outcomes. One Publique retains the discretion to extend invitations solely to students whose performance, work ethics, and discipline align with the standards of One Publique.
• If students are absent for more than 2 classroom sessions without making up for their absence, this will result in exclusion from participation in the Final Show.
• Each student attending the Final Show will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Performance Video.
COMMUNICATION
• Students and instructors will communicate through Google Classroom.
• Parents will receive Before vs. After (Final Show) videos of their children together
with progress updates throughout the course.
LOCATION
• In-person at One Publique Head Office, located on the 3rd floor of Vanilla Moon on Chan Road.
PREREQUISITES
• Every student must complete an Assessment before joining this course. There are no other prerequisites for this course.
MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT
• Each student is expected to bring an iPad to class for speech writing.
• Each student must have a personal Gmail account for Google Classroom access. We do not allow students to use their school emails.
PRICE
The pricing for this introductory course comes in two options. Please choose from one of the two options below:
• 36,000 THB / student. (instructed by Founder & Head Coach)
• 29,000 THB/ student (instructed by Public Speaking Coach)
Despite the price difference, the course follows the same curriculum. Alumni and early bird discounts are available.
